One in ten South African men will be affected by prostate cancer in their lifetime. That is at least one man in your life… We need to get rid of the stigma surrounding it.
Together we – especially us guys – need to work on raising awareness about the increase in the disease year on year, and in doing so hope to remove the stigma around the testing process that needs to take place in order to catch things at the earliest possible time.
So many of us have people in our lives that have been affected by prostate cancer… Our dads, brothers, uncles, friends. What you might not know is that survival rate is very high – especially if you catch it early.

Look, more than 90 percent of men who are diagnosed with prostate cancer live for five years or longer after treatment… It’s one of the most curable forms of cancer. Let’s try and keep it that way!
South African men have a 1 in 24 lifetime risk of prostate cancer, and it’s the leading cause of cancer for guys in this country.
