April is nearly at an end, but I couldn’t let the month pass without dishing out a bit of Shelflife #SneakOfTheMonth goodness. It just wouldn’t be right.
Also, you know these are a goody because I actually went out and bought them for myself, so – unluckily for you – it’s me in the pictures and not some random good-looking model.
2018 has been a bit bonkers with regards to new trainers. Nike, Adidas and Puma have all upped their game, with the folks over at Vans and Asics getting in on the game too. It’s an exciting time to be a sneaker head, and Shelflife have them all.
So lets get down to it, but you might need to put your sunglasses on for these, because they are BRIGHT. ?
Adidas UltraBOOST Clima
So I’ll address the cost first and foremost. They aren’t cheap. But, sometimes we’re all just suckers for beauty. These sneakers are so incredibly nice, and it’s honestly like walking on clouds when you put them on. The Boost sole is a real gift from Adidas, and they won’t be the last pair that I get.
The first thing I did when I got my pair – before even the pictures – was Crep the hell out of them. I’m not taking any chances with these, so need to make sure they’re protected. On foot they’re brilliant. They’re super light and, as the name ClimaCool may suggest, very breathable and great for warm weather. A word of warning for those with wide feet though, the sock fitting may take some time to fit you properly.
My Take: 9/10
I’ve spoken of my fear of getting all white sneakers, but I couldn’t help myself with these. The only reason they haven’t got a 10 is because I know that I’m going to be spending a fair bit of time cleaning them to make sure they stay bright white! Absolutely cracking sneaker.
SNEAK FACT!! – Every BOOST sole is made by squishing together lots of small capsules, allowing each little pellet to retain its own shape.
